Football fans will be delighted to see the back of international football and a return to domestic action as we move into the business end of the season.
With the exception of Kelty Hearts who’ve ran away with the League Two title, it’s very much all to play of in terms of league titles, relegation, play-offs, splits and European qualification across the four leagues.
It should be a fascinating end to the season which should create some great betting opportunities.
We’ve recorded a bumper podcast this week covering all 4 leagues, including Sunday’s crunch Rangers vs Celtic title tussle
Last time out Bobby Madden kept a lid on things early doors in Celtic’s 3-0 win at Celtic Park and only issued one first half card before the offences mounted up leading him to brandish another four in the second half. That’s often how these debries play out otherwise an early flurry of cards would lead to one or two reds later on.
Habitual offender Alfredo Morelos misses out through injury and he’s usually good for a card. And of course, we’ve missed the obligatory Scott Brown card in this fixture this season so I’ve opted for a cards bet builder that will hopefully see Under 2.5 Cards in the first half, then Over 2.5 Cards in the second half. Fingers crossed Willie Collum won’t let us down.
With so much at stake across all five matches on Saturday I think there should be goals. Points will be crucial today as teams battle it out for top six places and to avoid the drop so I’m backing all 5 games to see at least two goals which gives us a nice 13/2 acca.
Rangers v Celtic
- Under 2.5 1st half cards / Over 2.5 2nd half cards 1/1 (Bet365 Bet Builder)
Scottish Premiership – Saturday matches
- All 5 matches over 1.5 goals 13/2 (William Hill)
