Rangers staged a sensational comback at Pittodrie last night to cut the gap to Celtic to six points at the top of the Scottish Premiership. Tonight’s it’s the Hoops’ turn to respond when Livingston visit the east end of Glasgow.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have been in sensational form in the league but Livi often prove a tough nut to crack for the Bhoys. David Martindale’s side have taken something from five of the last nine meetings (W1 D4 L4) and the Lions’ gaffer usually sets up to frustrate Celtic.
An early goal could be the key for Celtic and we know they’re usually quick starters at home. They’ve scored a goal inside 15 minutes in five of their seven matches at Celtic Park. A goal before the 22nd minute pays 5/6 at Bet365.
On a similar vein Celtic corners at home is usually worth looking at. On Saturday they won the corner count by seven to nil and their first was awarded inside two minutes – not for the first time. A corner to either side in the first 10 minutes pays an attractive 13/10 (got to Bet365 BetBuilder).
As for the result itself anything other than a Celtic win would be a shock but they’re just 1/9 to win and 4/9 to be winning half-time/full-time.
The EFL Cup continues tonight as some more top flight teams return to action. Brighton will be without World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister but should be too strong for a Charlton side who are languishing in the bottom half of League One. 1/3 might be a small price but for big-hitters it’ll represent a bit of value if Roberto De Zerbi goes with a strong line-up. It’s 10/11 that the Seagulls lead at half-time and full-time.
