Southampton vs West Ham – Both Teams to Score
West Ham travel to the South Coast to take on Southampton at St Mary’s for a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Southampton have won back-to-back home games over strugglers Everton and Norwich City and come into this suffering just one defeat in their last 11 in the Premier League.
West Ham defeated fellow European hopefuls Wolves on Sunday, with David Moyes’s side now unbeaten in each of their last four in the league.
Given the Saints have scored in each of their last 11 in the league and the Hammers in nine of their last 10, there’s a good chance we’ll see goals at both ends at St Mary’s.
Motherwell vs Ross County – Both Teams to Score
Two sides separated by just five points meet at Fir Park this evening, as sixth-placed Motherwell host a Ross County side sitting in 10th.
Motherwell came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Ibrox on Sunday, but the Steelmen have failed to win any of their last eight, whilst Malky Mackay’s visitors have lost just one of their last six.
Both sides have struggled for clean sheets this season, with Graham Alexander’s hosts conceding in eight of their last nine, whilst the Staggies have recorded just four in the league all season.
Given Motherwell have scored in 11/14 of their home matches this season and County have scored in 22/28 of their league fixtures, there’s a good chance we’ll see both net in Lanarkshire this evening.
Rangers to Score 2+
Rangers can I’ll-afford to drop any more points, as they travel to Perthshire to take on relegation-threatened St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
The Gers have won just two of their last six fixtures in the Scottish Premiership, whilst the Saints have won just two of their last 16 in the league.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side rarely fail to net, scoring in 26/28 of their league matches so far this season, scoring 58 goals and it’ll be a surprise if they don’t add to that this evening.
St Johnstone have conceded in 21 of their 28 leagues matches and have conceded at least twice in all four meetings with the Old Firm this season and there’s a good chance we’ll see a repeat in Perth tonight.
Edinburgh City vs Stenhousemuir – Both Teams to Score
Two sides in the hunt for the playoffs in League 2 in Scotland meet at Meadowbank Stadium, as Edinburgh City host Stenhousemuir.
Gary Naysmith’s hosts bounced back from successive defeats to defeat Cowdenbeath last time out, whilst Stenny have won three and drawn one of their last four in the league.
Both of these sides regularly get on the scoresheet, with the pair scoring in 40/51 of their combined matches in League 2 so far this season.
No side has kept fewer clean sheets in League 2 than Stephen Swift’s visitors (4) and with the Citizens keeping just six themselves, there’s a good chance we’ll see goals at both ends in the capital.
