Society to Come Home in Front Again
Front Society was the dog to get the better of Henry last week for Kevin Proctor. That was her fourth win in a row, ending Henry’s perfect 9/9 start to his racing career at Harlow.
She was drawn in one last week and has the red jacket on her back again tonight in her bid to extend her winning sequence. There is a little more early pace around her here, but not enough to think that she can’t keep on winning in the 18.33.
Pippa to Score for Westwood
The final open race on the card is at 21.02 where Malbay Pippa makes most appeal for Marlene Westwood. The winner of four of her last six starts over the 592m trip here, she should be hard to hold.
A draw in six is wider than she has been used to before but when she was in five back in the autumn she produced her quickest sectional. That suggests that this won’t be any issue for her.
Ping Break From Wide to Usher in Success
Paul Vincent has a progressive pup in the shape of Ushers Leo. He was a decent winner of a graded contest when last in action, getting the better of Jumeirah Emms who has some open race winning form.
That is a solid scalp for the youngster to have taken, especially with the likelihood at his age that there is more to come. He has plenty of early pace so if coming away in the same fashion, he should have the 19.44 quickly under control.
Clarke’s Polo to Pounce Late and Fast
One with the opposite style of running is Lemming Polo, a strong runner over the 592m trip for Paul Clarke, he does his best work late in the day. He came up against today’s opponent Front Move in early February, going under by half a length.
He is a little younger and less exposed than that rival and she produced her second best sectional from 11 starts over this trip so she has to be at her very best in the early strides of the 20.03 to be able to hold him off again.
Red Jacket to Make All the Difference for Snowflake
It was a bold move from Lee Field to send his runners to Harlow last week without a look, one that didn’t pay off. With that experience behind them, a winner of two would be no surprise tonight.
