Manchester City to Score 3+
Two sides who’ve made perfect start to their Champions League campaigns meet at the Etihad, as Manchester City play host to Borussia Dortmund.
Pep Guardiola’s hosts began with a scintillating 0-4 victory in Andalusia against Sevilla, whilst Der BVB cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win at home to Danish champions Copenhagen.
Edin Terzić’s visitors struggled away from home in Europe last season, conceding a combined total of nine goals in their last three matches against Rangers, Sporting CP and Ajax.
Dortmund also conceded three away at Leipzig at the weekend and there’s every chance this free-scoring City side make the net bulge at least three times for the sixth time this season.
Napoli to Score 2+
Two sides who have made contrasting starts to their Champions League campaigns meet at what will be an atmospheric Ibrox tomorrow evening, as Rangers host Italian side Napoli.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s hosts began their first Champions League campaign in 11 years with an embarrassing 4-0 defeat away at Ajax on Matchday 1, whilst the Partenopei thrashed last years runners-up Liverpool 4-1 in what was an impressive showing.
The Gers have struggled defensively this season, conceding 13 goals in their last seven matches and that spells trouble as they come up against an in-form Napoli side.
Luciano Spalletti’s visitors sit top of Serie A and have scored 17 goals in their seven competitive fixtures this season and look a good bet to bag a brace against this vulnerable Rangers defence.
Real Madrid to Score 2+
Real Madrid will look to continue their perfect start to the season, as they play host to RB Leipzig at the Santiago Bernabéu in Group F on Wednesday evening.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side began their Champions League campaign with a 0-3 victory at Celtic Park, whilst Die Roten Bullen were thumped 1-4 at home to Shakhtar Donetsk.
On top of lifting the UEFA Super Cup, Los Blancos have made a 100% start to their La Liga campaign, winning all five matches to leave them two points clear of second-placed Barcelona.
Real Madrid have scored on multiple occasions in all seven of their competitive fixtures this season and I’m backing them to keep that run going against a Leipzig side that ain’t too strong defensively.
