THERE wasn’t much to get excited about in the Premier League on Tuesday, unless of course you’re a Leeds fan.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men proved yet again that they’re madder than a box of frogs. A 5-0 win over West Brom was their eighth to see four or more goals scored this season. All while the other four matches in the Premier League saw just three goals scored between them – a bad night for goals punters.
Well done to those of you that managed to find a winner!
Wednesday’s Tips
We’ll all be glad to see the back of football in 2020 and we sign-off with a couple more Premier League matches and a full card in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic will be looking for a morale-boosting win at home to Dundee United ahead of their trip to Ibrox on Saturday while Rangers will have be aiming to avenge their Betfred Cup defeat at St Mirren.
St Johnstone are as short as they’ve been in a long while, at 2/5, to beat Hamilton, even shorter than Hibs (4/9) to defeat bottom-side Ross County.
Both Killie and Motherwell are desperate for a win that would kick-start their season and Livingston recent resurgence will be given a stern test by visitors Aberdeen.

Selectabet’s Football Tips
Spurs have flirted with the notion of being title contenders this season but they’ve taken just two points from their last 12 and Jose Mourinho needs to arrest that slide soon. If they have ambitions of challenging at the top end of the of table they simply must be winning games at home against Fulham.
The Cottagers have staged a mini-revival of their own but Scott Parker must be wishing they could’ve converted at least one of their recent four draws in to a win. That said, they’re now unbeaten in six – that only loss being to Man City – and travel to north London with some confidence.
I like the look of Spurs here, and fancy them to score a couple of goals on their way to the three points.
In a similar vein I also like the looks of Hibs at home to Ross County. The Staggies are in awful form at the moment, losing their last five games by two goals to nil. In fact they’ve not won, nor even scored, since knocking Celtic out of the League Cup.
Hibs defeat to Rangers on Boxing Day was their first since the start of November and they’re locked in a battle for third with Aberdeen. They’re too good for Ross County and should win and score two or more.
