Hibernian 4/9
Since pulling off the biggest shock of the season when kocking Celtic out of the Betfred Cup, Ross County have not only lost their subsequent six matches but they’d failed to score in any of them. The appointment of John Hughes as replacement for the departed Stuart Kettlewell hasn’t had the desired impact yet and they face another tough trip to Easter Road on Wednesday.
The Hibees have had an excellent season, only suffering defeats to Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen. There’ve been too many draws at home but should too good for a struggling Ross County in this one.
Atletico Madrid 4/9
I can’t be certain but there surely can’t be a more one sided fixture across the top leagues in Europe than when Atletico and Getafe pair up? Not only are Atleti unbeaten in 17 (W15 D2) but Getafe have failed to score in EVERY one of those encounters, dating back to November 2011.
The aggregate score across those games is 32-0 and 4/9, although short, still looks value for top-of-the-table Atletico to secure another three points in their quest for the La Liga title.
Celta Vigo 3/4
With five wins in their last six Celta Vigo have hit a bit of much-needed form in La Liga. They seem more than capable of taking care of lower ranked teams at home and although they’ve lost three at home it should be noted that those defeats were at the hands of Atletico (1st), Real Sociedad (3rd) and Barcelona (5th).
Bottom placed Huesca are the only team without a win away from home so far in La Liga.
SPAL 1/1
With the best home record in Serie B SPAL look a good bet to beat Brescia. Just seven points separate the top eight in the table and SPAL are only four points off the top spot.
Mid-table Brescia are in reasonable form but their six points won away from home have all come against teams lower than them in the league.
