In the absence of much football on Wednesday The Caddy takes centre stage with his golf tips for this weekend on the European Tour.

Italy and Portgual will need to navigate the play-offs to ensure they’re at the party next year. They’ll be seeded in the draw alongside Scotland, Russia, Sweden and Wales. Unseeded will be Turkey, Poland, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Austria and Czech Republic when the draw takes place next Friday.
France and Brazil top the betting at 6/1 to lift the trophy with England third favourites at 7/1. European Champions Italy are 12s but that’s likely to shorten once they qualify. Home nations Wales and Scotland can be backed at 500/1 and 1000/1 respectively to pull off the shock of all shocks.
