Aidan is currently one of the best jockeys in the country and he has said “It’s fantastic to be a part of such a recognisable brand in the sports world and I’m excited to be working closely with MansionBet throughout the season.”
He capped a great season last year by winning the Champion Chase on Put The Kettle On who he said was a “Super Mare”.
This weekend Aidan was back at Cheltenham for 6 rides and was riding in the MansionBet sponsored breeches for the first time. Put The Kettle On was one of his rides, but she was outpaced in the Shloer Chase down the back straight. Aidan said “The ground was the issue, but she will be back in March trying to defend her Champion Chase crown.”
Aidan Coleman has ridden over 1,000 winners in his career to date and he has plenty of big rides to look forward to this season, which includes the likes of Epatante, Paisley Park and Put The Kettle On plus many more.
Over his career, Aidan has won some of the biggest races in the national hunt calendar, here are just a few of his big race victories:
- 2014 Welsh Grand National (Grade 3)
- 2016 & 2017 Denman Chase (Grade 2)
- 2018 & 2020 Long Walk Hurdle (Grade 1)
- 2019 Cheltenham Stayers’ Hurdle (Grade 1)
- 2020 Arkle Challenge Trophy (Grade 1)
- 2020 Fighting Fifth Hurdle (Grade 1)
- 2021 Queen Mother Champion Chase (Grade 1)
- 2021 Persian War Novices’ Hurdle (Grade 2)
It’s going to be an exciting partnership with Aidan and hopefully he will continue to ride many more winners at the top level.
