Denmark face a date with destiny in their final World Cup Group D assignment against Australia on Wednesday afternoon.
After opening their campaign with a 0-0 draw against Tunisia, Kasper Hjulmand’s team fell to a 2-1 defeat against France, a setback that means the Danes must-win their final pool game if they are to join the defending champions in the knockout round.
In contrast, the Socceroos’ know that their fate lies in their own hands following their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Tunisia on Saturday, meaning they only need a draw to progress.
General 1/2 quotes suggest that Denmark will get the job done here with the minimum of fuss but I’m going to head to the Bet Builder market to bump up the price with a view to getting the Scandinavians onside.
