IT was a terrific night for punters betting on the Hearts vs Celtic game on Wednesday with 6 cards, 2 goals 9 corners and a Celtic win to leave bookies running for cover, especially with the likes of Brown and MacLean making their way into the referee’s book.
Friday night sees the second Edinburgh vs Glasgow battle this week as Rangers roll into the capital to play Hibs at Easter Road and know they can’t afford any slip-ups.

French and Dutch leagues are reduced due to the midweek cup action bit still enough games to have a look at.
Hibs vs Rangers (7.45pm)
This should be a cracker and I’d expect a similar outcome to Wednesday’s Hearts v Celtic match in terms goals, cards and corners.
Steven Gerrard’s team are now 5 points behind Celtic and the pressure is on to make sure they leave Leith with three points.
It’s not going to be a walk in the park for Rangers as Hibs have improved massively since Paul Heckingbottom left, Jack Ross is at the helm now and will be pleased with what he has seen.
They’ve only lost once at home this season and face a Rangers side missing their prize asset Alfredo Morelos – Defoe will take his place (not a bad replacement eh). I think Rangers will edge this by a goal and I feel they’ll need to score at least twice to win this as Hibs are a real goal threat at home especially with Flo Kamberi and Christian Doidge forming a terrific partnership.
Won’t be short of cards in this game with plenty of candidates for a booking – throw in some corners (would expect both sides to contribute), it makes for some strong looking betbuilders.
There’s two I really like (bet365, I’ve created over 1.5 goals, over 3.5 cards, over 7.5 corners side at 19-20) but going to opt for Sky Bet’s requestabet.
Will wait for team news but could be worth throwing in a couple of players to be booked into a betbuilder.
