Meanwhile, here is McBookie‘s Damian Walker with his thoughts for this weekend.
Damian writes: “We are down to the last eight in the Scottish Cup and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to see Hearts priced at 3-5 for their trip to face Partick Thistle on Monday night.
“The 10-man Jambos managed to come back from a goal down against Celtic at half-time only to concede a last-gasp loser in injury time.
“A few days later and they face the team propping up the Championship but where I was expecting odds of about 4-9 I get hit with 3-5.
“Remember this Thistle side averages just a single goal a game in the league this season and last weekend crashed 3-0 at Dunfermline.
“I rarely back odds-on shots but this Hearts price looks too good to be true and I’ll also be getting involved in the handicaps.
“Steven Naismith has been the crucial player for the Jambos this season and their form dip coincided with his mid-season injury.
“Naismith may miss this quarter-final clash as he came off at half-time in midweek but Hearts should still surely have too much for the Jags.
“If that is the case it may be worth chancing a first-scorer selection of Sean Clare who signed from Gillingham in October.
“Clare scored against Kilmarnock at the beginning of last month and has made himself a regular in the starting line-up. He is a tempting 10-1 to open the scoring with McBookie.
“In the Championship, Dunfermline are starting to put together a nice little run which has taken them to fifth place in the table, just two points off the play-offs.
“The Pars have been incredibly tight at the back and not conceded a goal in their last four-and-a-half hours of football which has seen them win three straight games.
“On Saturday they host Queen of the South who have lost their last five games and scored just two goals. With that background in the relative recent form of the two sides I think 10-11 about a Dunfermline win looks excellent value.
“Aberdeen striker Bruce Anderson joined the Pars on loan in February and has been an instant hit with three goals in his first four games. The 20-year-old had scored three goals from 18 games for the Dons this season prior to his loan move and looks to have a bright future.
“He will probably prove too good for the Championship level so it is worth grabbing the 9-2 about him scoring first on Saturday.
“There is a huge game in League Two as third-placed Clyde entertain Edinburgh City who are a couple of points ahead in second.
“Clyde have been on an incredible run since losing to Peterhead on October 27. Since that date they have played 15 League Two games – winning 10 and drawing five.
“Defence has been the key to their success as they have conceded more than one goal just once during that 15-match run, including eight clean sheets.
“David Goodwillie has returned from his broken arm in fine form – coming off the bench to grab an equaliser at Queen’s Park and scoring the only goal of the game in midweek away to Stirling Albion. Goodwillie is 19-5 with McBookie to be the game’s first goalscorer.
“Can you find a winner!”
