Chaves v Pacos Ferreira
Chaves are looking to strengthen their hopes of nabbing a European spot when they welcome relegation-threatened Pacos.
The hosts sit four points off sixth-place Vitoria Guimaraes with just three games left but have momentum on their side, winning and their last two and suffering just one defeat in eight.
Having toppled leaders Benfica 1-0 at home last month, the visit of second-bottom Pacos will hold no fears. The visitors have lost four of their last five and another defeat beckons here. Back Chaves at 15-13 with Unibet.
Real Sociedad v Girona
Two in-form sides with Europe firmly in their sights go head to head in La Liga.
Sociedad are on track for the Champions League, sitting fourth with a seven-point cushion over Villarreal and seeking a third straight win.
On home soil, the Basque outfit have won four on the spin – most recently taking the scalp of Real Madrid – and can edge out a Girona side who also toppled Carlo Ancelotti’s men in their current run of three straight victories.
The visitors occupy the Europa Conference berth but have a pack of teams snapping at their heels and Sociedad can dent Girona’s hopes by taking the points at 13-20 with BetVictor.
Standard Liege v Westerlo
Both teams are bidding to end winless runs, with Standard having gone three games without victory and Westerlo’s barren run stretching twice as long.
Standard’s home record at least offers hope as prior to their 2-1 defeat to Gent they had scored 2+ in six of seven on their own patch.
Westerlo have shipped eight goals in two games – losing 5-3 at home to Cercle Brugge after a 3-1 defeat at Gent – and I like the 17-20 at William Hill for Standard to score two or more.
Euro Treble
- Real Sociedad (1pm)
- Chaves (3.30pm)
- Standard Liege to score 2+ (7.30pm)
- (11-2, William Hill)
