Steffen Baumgart’s side have kept just one clean sheet all season, whilst Julian Nagelsmann’s men have conceded in 7/8 away from home, therefore, there’s a good chance both sides will find the back of the net on Saturday afternoon.
Lazio to Score 2+
Inconsistent Lazio will look to get back to winning ways in Serie A, as they travel to the Stadio Arechi to take on bottom side Salernitana.
Despite a valiant effort, Maurizio Sarri’s side succumbed to a 2-1 defeat away to champions Inter last Sunday, whilst Salernitana claimed their first win in nine away to Hellas Verona in their first game in 2022.
Despite that win, I Granata have kept just one clean sheet all season and have the league’s leakiest defence, conceding 43 goals in their first 19 matches this season.
Only Atalanta and the two Milan clubs have outscored the Biancocelesti this season and given how leaky the hosts defence is, I’m backing the capital club to score at least twice here.
Borussia M’gladbach vs Bayer Leverkusen – Both Teams to Score
Borussia M’gladbach play host to Rhine rivals Bayer Leverkusen at Borussia-Park, in what is game of the day in the Bundesliga.
After five games without a win, Adi Hütter’s side got back to winning ways away to champions Bayern last Friday, whilst Leverkusen could only draw 2-2 at home to Union Berlin, meaning it’s now four without a win for Gerardo Seoane’s side
Gladbach have scored in eight of their last nine in the Bundesliga and have only failed to score at home once this season, whilst Leverkusen have scored 42 times already this season, failing to score just once.
Both sides have kept just six clean sheets in their 36 combined matches in the Bundesliga this season and given both side rarely fail to net, we should see both sides score in this Rhine derby.
Braga vs Marítimo – Over 2.5 Goals
European chasing Braga host in-form Marítimo at the Estádio Municipal de Braga in what should be an entertaining clash.
Despite playing the majority of the match with 10 men, Braga scored a late equaliser against Famalicão to draw 2-2 last time out, whilst Marítimo scored a late goal themselves away to Portimonense to make it back to wins in Primeira Liga.
Only Porto and Benfica have outscored Braga this season, with Carlos Carvalhal’s side netting 32 goals so far this season, whilst the Madeira based club have scored in each of their last nine in the league, scoring 16 times.
Braga have scored 18 goals in their nine home matches this season and given Marítimo’s scoring form of late, there’s a good chance both will score here and that should lead to over 2.5 goals.
