After a summer of turmoil at both Barcelona and Real Madrid, the other teams in Spain will feel this is their best chance of securing the La Liga title.
This weekend promises to be another thrilling few days of action, with several standout matches to look forward to, including a third consecutive away game for Carlo Ancelotti’s Real.
Green and Whites Set Sights on Europe
Real Betis have started the season with two draws but when you add that to the results at the end of last season, Manuel Pellegrini’s men are unbeaten in 13 games.
The Green and Whites are face a big test of their potential on Saturday, when Real Madrid visit the Estadio Benito Villamarin at 21:00 BST.
This fixture finished 2-3 to Madrid last season, but the sides played out a 0-0 draw in the reverse game in April – another draw on Sunday can be backed at 14/5, with Betis available at 16/5 and Real at 4/5.

A disappointing 3-3 draw at Levante last week was a setback, with the home side in front twice in the second half and Real needing a late equaliser to snatch a point.
Vinicius Junior scored twice in that draw and has three goals to his name already this term, with the Brazilian available at 6/1 to score first on Saturday.
Go For Goals at Camp Nou
Minus Lionel Messi, Barcelona have made a decent start to the season – collecting four points and scoring five goals in their opening two matches.
Matchday Three sees Ronald Koeman’s men play host to a Getafe team who have no points and no goals to their name and have won just one of their last 12 La Liga away games.
Barca have won the last three meetings between the sides at the Camp Nou, including a 5-2 success last term, and are 5/13 to win again on Sunday, with Getafe 29/4 and the draw available at 19/5.

Atletico Need to Ground Out Win
The current champions have won their opening two matches and are at home again, with Diego Simone’s side having lost just one of their last 32 La Liga games at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Atletico have conceded just 17 goals during that run of home matches and they will sense another shut out, with Villarreal failing to score in their opening two games.
It’s not a surprise to see the hosts odds-on to collect the points (4/5), but the Atletico To Win to Nil looks a good shout at 19/10.
