FC Haka vs FC Inter Turku – Both Teams to Score
Two mid-table sides separated only by goal-difference in the Finnish Veikkausliiga table meet at the Tehtaan kenttä, as sixth-placed Inter Turku travel to seventh-placed Haka.
Haka extended their unbeaten run to four matches last time out, with a 0-2 success away to bottom side HIFK, whilst José Riveiro’s visitors 2-1 defeat at Lahti brung an end to their five-match unbeaten run.
The Black and Blues have found the back of the net in 11/13 of their league fixtures this season, including in all six on their travels and they’ll be confident of continuing that run against a Haka defence that’s yet to register a clean sheet at home this season.
Teemu Tainio’s hosts have also scored in 11/13 of their league fixtures so far this term, including in each of their last seven and they too will be confident of scoring against an Inter defence that’s kept one clean sheet all season and none on the road.
Grorud IL vs Mjøndalen IF – Both Teams to Score
Two of the most out-of-form sides in the Norwegian OBOS-ligaen meet in the Capital, as second bottom Grorud host seventh-placed Mjøndalen.
Grorud’s lost for the fourth consecutive match as they were thumped 4-0 at Sogndal in their last outing, whilst Mjøndalen at least put an end to their five-match losing streak with a 1-1 draw at home to Åsane.
Vegard Hansen’s visitors have kept three clean sheets all season and given they come into this having conceding 17 goals in their last six matches, I can’t see them keeping out a Grorud side that’s scored in 11 of their 14 league fixtures.
Not only do Grorud have the second-worst defence in the Norwegian second-tier, but they remain one of three sides yet to keep a clean sheet and I expect that run to continue against a Mjøndalen side that’s only failed to score again Brann (1st) and Sogndal (4th) in the league so far this season.
GIF Sundsvall vs BK Häcken – Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides at opposite ends of the Swedish Allsvenskan table meet at the NP3 Arena, as second-placed Häcken travel to third from bottom Sundsvall.
After winning 2-1 at home to reigning champions Malmö, Henrik Ähnstrand’s hosts got a 1-1 draw at Värnamo last time out, whilst Häcken got back to winning ways following consecutive draws in their last outing, with a 1-2 win at mid-table Mjällby.
Sundsvall have scored in 6/7 of their home fixtures this season, scoring on multiple occasions in each of their last four and will look to breach a Häcken defence yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
Per-Mathias Høgmo’s visitors have scored in 12/13 of their league fixtures this season, scoring on multiple occasions in seven of their last eight and there’s a good chance they’ll score at least twice against the leagues leakiest defence.
Varberg BoIS to Score 2+
Varberg will look to maintain their good recent record in front of their own supporters, as they play host to bottom side Helsingborgs at the Päskbergsvallen.
Varberg’s struggles on their travels continued last time out, as they were comfortably beaten 3-0 by reigning champions Malmö, whilst Helsingborgs lost for the sixth time in their last seven matches, as they were defeated 0-2 at home to league leaders Djurgärden.
HIF have registered just a solitary point on their travels this season, with Di Röe conceding exactly twice in five of those six away matches.
Joakim Persson’s hosts have lost just one of their last five at home, winning each of their last two 2-1 and 3-0 against Degerfors and Värnamo respectively and there’s a good chance they’ll score at least twice against a Helsingborgs side who already look as if they’ll be making an immediate return to the Superettan.
