RANGERS have broken the Scottish record for clean sheets at the start of the season but although they can win at Hibs on Sunday that goals against column could be breached.
Steven Gerrard’s men have started the season in impressive style and face a massive test in front of the cameras this weekend in Leith.
Hibs looked back to their best while romping to a win against St Mirren last week and will be set up to net against that tight Ibrox backline after a lean period that coincided with the absence of Kevin Nisbet.
With Martin Boyle, Christian Doidge and Nisbet, Hibs are unlikely to sit back and they will fancy it.
Rangers have enough about them to win though despite a spate of recent injuries. With four strikers of note to choose from Rangers look a huge goal threat and they should have enough in midfield to win the possession battle at Easter Road.
And the 23-10 on offer from McBookie.com about Rangers to win and both teams to score could be a value investment.
Aberdeen again look a perfectly backable price at 17-20 to defeat Motherwell at Pittodrie, also on Sunday.
Both teams were on European duty this week and while Derek McInnes’ side earned an impressive win in Norway, Motherwell did their utmost to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in Northern Ireland.
The Dons will be desperate to prove a point after missing out on third place last season to Motherwell who have just one league win all season.
McInnes has plenty of his side on form at the moment and they should have probably defeated Kilmarnock by more than just a goal last week.
Aberdeen still have work to do when it comes to converting chances and will be up against a Fir Park side who appear to have settled for a five-at-the-back formation.
But with the likes of Ryan Hedges and Scott Wright on fire just now, they should have enough to unlock the Well defence and keep up their good form with a win.
Motherwell not only had to play an energy-sapping extra 30 minutes on a woeful Coleraine pitch, their midfield terrier Allan Campbell limped off and he would be a massive loss if he didn’t make it.
