DRX have lost only five series this split (9-5), which guarantees them a spot in the playoffs and a tag as one of Korea’s top LoL teams. DRX outperformed the expectations; on the other side, Nongshim RedForce disappointed many fans with their showings in LCK 2022 Spring.
With a 4-10 record, RedForce are tied with KT Rolster and Liiv SANDBOX in seventh place and enter the regular season’s penultimate week following back-to-back defeats against Kwangdong Freecs (0-2) and Fredit BRION (1-2), which is far from inspiring.
However, Nongshim RedForce is a team that you don’t feel good betting against because of all the talented players on this roster. So while we don’t expect RedForce to win, they should be able to keep DRX on their toes and force a close series.

Last Thursday, Gen.G lost against T1 (0-2); however, Gen.G had to play without mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon and ADC Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk. Likewise, Chovy and Ruler were missing in Gen.G’s second match of the week against Kwangdong Freecs (2-1).
Chovy and Ruler are not confirmed but should return to the lineup for this match, so it doesn’t make much sense for Gen.G to be priced as $2.10 underdogs. A fairer price would be $1.50, knowing that Gen.G were 11-2 before last week and that they already won against DWG KIA in January.
Assuming Gen.G get back their mid laner and ADC, they should win, but we must consider that the two players likely won’t be at 100%, so it’s fair to expect a closer affair. DWG KIA are weaker than Gen.G, but they’ve shown enough improvement for us to believe they can put up a fight.
