SAINT Etienne were disappointing last but my early goal bets in Austria made up for it as all 5 games saw a goal scored before 30 minutes to land a nice 13/1 winner.
Its a market I’ve been doing for a few years now and have mentioned a number of times on the site. There are games in Germany, France and Italy today that will be offering Time of the 1st goal markets on Bet365 and Skybet are also surprisingly offering total goal markets which I won’t be missing out on.
Italian Serie B – 9 Matches 2pm
Its the final round of fixtures in Serie B but don’t let that fool you into thinking the players are already on their holidays. There’s a huge amount at stake still with 7 of the 9 matches involving clubs with something still to ply for.
- Lecce and Palermo will battle it out to join Brescia in Serie A
- 5 Clubs are competing for the remaining three promotion play off spots
- 5 clubs will fight it out to see who avoids relegation / relegation play offs
Its should be a fascinating afternoon and like the last time we had a full card I’m looking to post another winning total goals bet.
4 of the leagues top 5 sides are home and with so much at stake for 12 of the sides we should see some open games with plenty of goals being scored. As I often say, with 9 games being played we’ll see at least 3 or 4 games hitting 4+ goals.
I’m surprised Skybet are offering total goals as its a market they have removed over the last few months. I’m not complaining though – we’re getting 25+ goals and I’m happy to take that.

Scottish Play off’s – 3pm
- Forfar vs Raith Rovers
- Stenhouesmuir vs Annan Athletic
Hard to call out right winners in the Scottish play offs but we should see’s goals in theses second leg affairs
Forfar have been absolutely Terrific at home and under boss Jim Weir have turned station park into a fortress. They trail 2-1 but will definitely grab a gaol, sadly, Raith are a decent outfit and I can see them nicking goal.
In the other tie Stenny trail 2-0 and need to attack from the off – again they should manage a goal but Annan have already shown they are a good side and will fancy their chances of grabbing another goal here.
