Gents, English League One provides the majority of my picks today and any two of the top four can still go up whilst at the bottom of the League it’s just as interesting with seven teams still involved in the relegation battle. My two picks to score 2+ goals for a 2/1 double are Barnsley and Plymouth who are both at home.
Barnsley still have a sneaky outside chance of automatic promotion but it is a big ask. They are on some run at home where they have won their last eight games scoring 2+goals in each one. 15 of their 21 home games have seen have seen 2+ landing and they are 4/5 to repeat this today against an Oxford side in a relegation battle and in really poor form. Their last 8 away games have seen 4 draws +4 defeats and overall their last 16 games have seen them lose 10 times and draw 6.
Next up are Plymouth at home to Cambridge United. Plymouth come into this after two good away wins which sees them top. They have 3 home games left with 1 away which really should see them promoted with home wins against today’s opposition, Bristol Rovers and Burton. They have a great record at home of 17 wins, 2 defeats and 1 draw whilst scoring 2+goals on 14 occasions.
They are 8/11 to score 2+goals against a Cambridge side in relegation trouble and with a terrible record against the other top 7 sides- played 6, lost 5, drawn 1, 13 goals conceded and one solitary goal scored.
Going for the usual 3-point double that pays 2/1.
