Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me stay in Scandinavia once more and there’s a fixture in the Swedish Superettan that stands out to me for goals.

Örgryte will look to climb out the automatic relegation places, as they play host to mid-table Brommapojkarna at the Gamla Ullevi in Gothenburg.
Örgryte saw their four-match unbeaten run come to an end last time out, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat away at Skövde AIK. Brynjar Gunnarsson’s side have only taken five points from a possible 18 in front of their own supporters so far this season, but did win 2-0 against Örebro in their last home fixture. The Society have found the back of the net in six of their last seven league outings, including in each of their four, scoring eight times in those last four matches. The Gothenburg-based side have registered just two clean sheets so far this season and only Jönköpings Södra (28) have conceded more goals than the 26 they have let in.
Brommapojkarna emphatically got back to winning ways last time out, as they hammered Dalkurd 5-0 at home. Whilst they remain unbeaten at home, winning five of their seven fixtures, Christer Mattiasson’s side have won just one of their six matches on the road, losing four times (W1-D1-L4). BP have registered just two clean sheets from their opening 13 league matches, conceding 22 goals, with 14 of those coming when on the road. Only league leaders Halmstads BK have stopped Brommapojkarna from scoring this season, with them also being the third-highest scorers in the Swedish second-tier, scoring 29 times.
Bet of the Day
Örgryte have won just once in front of their own supporters this season but play host to a Brommapojkarna who’ve won just once on their travels. Brynjar Gunnarsson’s hosts have found the back of the in six of their last seven matches, scoring eight times in their last four and they’ll look to trouble a Brommapojkarna defence that’s kept just two clean sheets so far this season and who have conceded 14 times in their six away fixtures. Only table-toppers Halmstads BK have stopped Christer Mattiasson’s visitors from scoring this season and given they’ve already struck 29 times this season, they too should get on the scoresheet against an Örgryte defence that’s recorded just two shutouts this season and who have the joint second-worst defence in the Superettan. Both teams to score is priced a little short on it’s own but given both of these sides records at either end of the pitch, I’m willing to add in an extra match goal in what is hopefully a high-scoring encounter in Gothenburg on Tuesday evening.
