Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Norwegian Eliteserien, and I’m backing the reigning champions to secure a comfortable win away to their struggling hosts.

Molde will look to continue their climb up the Eliteserien table as they travel to the Color Line Stadion to take on rock-bottom Aalesund tomorrow teatime.
Aalesund’s abysmal start to their league campaign continued on Saturday, as they lost 1-0 away at newly-promoted Stabæk. Jan Petter Hagen’s hosts have now lost six of their opening seven Eliteserien matches this season, with their solitary point coming in a 0-0 draw in their previous home match against fourth-bottom Haugesund. The Tangoshirts have conceded 13 goals across their opening seven Eliteserien contests and have remarkably yet to find the back of the net.
Molde endured a nightmare start to their title defence, as they managed to collect just one point across their opening four league matches. However, Erling Moe’s visitors have gone on to win each of their next three Eliteserien matches, including a 3-0 victory at home to their upcoming opponents at the beginning of the month. Only league leaders Bodø/Glimt (18) have scored more goals in the Norwegian top-flight than Molde (14), with 12 of those strikes coming across their previous four fixtures.

Molde appear to have gotten over their sluggish start to the Eliteserien campaign, as they travel to Aalesund having won each of their last three league encounters – and I expect them to collect another three points against an Aalesund side that has lost six and drawn one of their opening seven Eliteserien matches.
To nudge up the price on a Molde victory, I’m happy to add them to score at least twice. The reigning champions have scored 12 goals across their previous four league outings, whilst Aalesund have already lost 3-0 away at Molde and 0-3 at home to Bodø/Glimt this campaign.
