Monday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me stay in Scandinavia and there’s a fixture in the Finnish Veikkausliiga that stands out to me for goals.
FC Haka vs FC Inter Turku

Two sides separated only by goal-difference in the Finnish Veikkausliiga meet in Valkeakoski, as Haka play host to Inter Turku at Tehtaan kenttä.
Haka stretched their unbeaten run to four matches last time out, as they scored a goal in each half to win 0-2 at bottom side HIFK. Teemu Tainio’s side have lost just once at home so far this season (W3-D2-L1), with one of those victories coming in a 3-2 success against Mariehamn in their last home fixture. Haka have found the back of the net in 11/13 of their matches this season, including in each of their last seven, with seven of their 19 goals coming in their last three fixtures. The Valkeakoski-based side have registered just two clean sheets so far this season, with none of them coming at home.
Inter Turku saw their five-match unbeaten run come to an end last time out, as they conceded in the 89th minute to lose 2-1 away to Lahti. José Riveiro’s side have taken just seven points from a possible 18 on their travels, but three of those did come in an impressive 1-4 win at reigning champions HJK Helsinki. The Black and Blues have also found the back of the net in 11 of their 13 league fixtures this season, including in all six when playing away from home. Inter Turku have recorded just one clean sheet this season and that came at home to third-bottom Mariehamn.
Bet of the Day
These two mid-table side have been in decent form, with Haka unbeaten in four whilst Inter Turku have lost just one of their last six. Haka, who are managed by ex-Spurs midfielder Teemu Tainio, have found the back of the net in each of their last seven league matches, scoring seven in their last three and should trouble a Inter Turku defence that’s recorded just one clean sheet in the league all season. José Riveiro’s have also scored in each of their last seven, as well as in all six matches on their travels and they too should make the net bulge against a Haka’s defence that’s kept just two clean sheets this season and none at home. Both teams to score is priced a little short on it’s own but given both of these sides records at either end of the pitch, I’m willing to add in an extra match goal in what is hopefully a high-scoring encounter.
