Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the fixture in the Turkish Süper Lig, and I’ve come up with a goals-based selection.

Istanbulspor will aim to climb outside of the relegation zone as they welcome the Turkish Süper Lig’s entertainers Fatih Karagümrük to the Esenyurt Necmi Kadıoğlu Stadium on Monday evening.
Istanbulspor saw their three-match winning run come to an end in their last league outing, as they lost 3-1 away at European chasing Beşiktaş. After losing five of their opening six league fixtures in front of their supporters (W0-D1-L5), Fatih Tekke’s side have lost just one of their next five (W3-D1-L1) – winning each of their previous two. The Bulls have found the back of the net in eight of their last nine Süper Lig fixtures at home, scoring on multiple occasions in six of those.
Fatih Karagümrük stretched their unbeaten record in the Turkish top-flight to 10 matches in their previous league fixture, as they drew 2-2 at home to Istanbul Başakşehir. After losing four of their opening seven Süper Lig fixtures on the road (W1-D2-L4), Andrea Pirlo’s side have avoided defeat in each of their next five, coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Giresunspor in their previous away fixture. The Kara Kırmızı are the third-highest scorers in Turkish Süper Lig and have found the back of the net in 21/24 of their Süper Lig fixtures – scoring on multiple occasions in 16 (67%) of those.
Bet of the Day
Both Teams to Score has banked in a league-high 19/24 (79%) of Fatih Karagümrük’s Süper League fixtures this term – and given the same has landed in seven of Istanbulspor’s previous nine league matches at home – I expect these two sides to get on the scoresheet once more.
Over 2.5 Goals has also banked in a league-high 18/24 (75%) of Fatih Karagümrük’s Süper Lig matches this season – and with eight of Istanbulspor’s previous 10 at home breaking the over 2.5 goal barrier – I’m expecting to see a minimum of three goals in this one with both teams contributing.
