Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the English National League, and there’s one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

Two clubs currently positioned in the playoff places in the National League go head-to-head at The Laithwaite Community Stadium on Tuesday evening as third-placed Woking host seventh-placed Bromley.
Woking suffered just their third defeat across their previous 19 National League fixtures at the weekend, as they were beaten 3-1 away at mid-table Altrincham. Darren Sarll’s side has lost just three times at home this season (W8-D4-L3), with two of those defeats coming against the runaway top two sides in the division, Wrexham and Notts County. The Cardinals have found the back of the net in 14/15 of their National League fixtures as hosts, scoring on multiple occasions in 10 of those.
Bromley recorded back-to-back victories in the National League for the first time since the end of September, as they defeated struggling Dorking 2-0 at the weekend. Andy Woodman’s visitors head into this fixture having lost one of their previous 13 National League fixtures (W5-D7-L1), with that defeat coming at title-chasing Wrexham. The Ravens have found the back of the net in all bar one of their 14 National League fixtures on the road this season, scoring on 20 occasions.
Bet of the Day
Whilst both Woking and Bromley head into this fixture having found the back of the net in 27/29 (93%) of their respective home and away National League fixtures this season, the hosts have registered just one clean across their previous 13 league outings, whilst the visitors have collected only three clean sheets on the road.
Both Teams to Score has landed in 10/14 (71%) of Bromley’s National League fixtures away from home this season – and given the same has banked in 10 of Woking’s previous 13 league assignments – I reckon there’s a good chance we’ll see these two playoff-chasing sides get on the scoresheet in this one.
