KevMac casts his net further afield this week for a look in to the top leagues in Europe
La Liga Tips
ATLETICO MADRID are homing in on the La Liga title but face a tricky test at Getafe tonight.
A battling midweek win over Bilbao took Diego Simeone’s men six points clear of Barcelona and they will have to dig deep again.
Amazingly, both teams to score has failed to come up in the last 18 meetings so it’s no surprise to see a repeat priced just 1/2 at McBookie. But Atletico have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 games so I’m going to take a punt on BTTS at 6/4.
Real Madrid are eight points off the pace and can’t afford a slip-up at home to Elche today.
Zinedine Zidane’s injury-hit side have been struggling for goals and that makes under 2.5 strikes a good option at 29/20 (McBookie).
Serie A Tips
Italy’s game of the weekend sees Milan host Napoli tomorrow on the back of their midweek draw at Old Trafford. I fancy under 2.5 goals again at 20/21 (McBookie).
Inter hold a six point gap over Milan and they’ve not given Andrea Pirlo’s side a sniff lately, winning seven on the bounce. Antonio Conte’s side shouldn’t be too troubled by their trip to Torino at 4/11 (Bet365).
Juve’s shock Champions League exit at the hands of Porto looked like it knocked the stuffing out of them. They’ve 10 points to make up on Inter in Serie A. On paper the trip to Cagliari looks a routine one but at 8/15 there are better bets to be had over the weekend.
Bundesliga Tips
Erling Haaland added to his incredible Champions League record in midweek and he’ll be aiming to continue that fine form when Hertha Berlin visit. The Norwegian hitman is 7/4 to open the scoring and 7/5 to bag another brace.
Bayern and Wolfsburg should be too good for Werder Bremen and Schalke respectively but the double pays just over 6/10.
So add in goals for both sides in the Stuttgart v Hoffenheim game on Sunday to make up a 13/10 Treble. Both teams are at the top end of the BTTS table so an over 2.5 and BTTS could also provide profit.
Super Single
- BTTS at Getafe (6/4, McBookie)
Under 2.5 double
- Madrid and Milan 37/10 (McBookie)
