A month ago it was looking like a pipe dream for Aston Villa fans that they would sneak into the playoffs but after 6 consecutive wins its now there’s to throw away.
18 points from those last 6 games has propelled them to 6th in the league and they can move 4 points clear of 7th place with victory tonight against struggling Rotherham.
They scored 18 goals in those 6 games and with star midfielder and bargain of the century John McGinn pulling the strings in midfield (4 goals in his last 5 matches) you have to fancy Villa to make it 7 wins in a row.
Rotherham gave themselves hope with a terrific 3 points against Forest at the weekend but lets be honest, Clydebank could beat Forest at home.
There are plenty of goals at the New York Stadium and we all know how unreliable the Villa defence is so wouldn’t be surprised with Villa to win and both teams to score
They’ll give Villa a game but the momentum is with the visitors and I’d expect them to make it 7 wins in a row. if you want a bit of extra value Villa and over 1.5 match goals is 19/20
