Los Angeles Thieves claimed a silver medal at CDL Pro-Am last weekend, which is very solid considering they have recently made a role swap. Still, we have to note that Sam “Octane” Larew has been struggling with his form and will need to find some traction if the Thieves want to compete for the CDL crown.
London Royal Ravens lost against the Thieves (1-3) last week, and even though they are talented enough to put up a fight, the Royal Ravens clearly need a bit more time to form the right synergy with Harry “Harry” Payne as the latest pick-up.
The offered CoD esports betting odds perfectly illustrate how this match should go. Los Angeles Thieves should win, and if they can show just a bit more on Search & Destroy, they might even go 3-0. Still, a victory with at least two maps to spare is a safe option.

Indervir “iLLeY” Dhaliwal will not play for OpTic Texas as he is still dealing with a thumb injury, which is a huge problem. Admittedly, OpTic are still one of the best teams in the league, but as seen in Call of Duty League 2022 Pro-Am Classic, OpTic are far more vulnerable without the star player.
Still, they finished the tournament in the top four, which is nothing to be ashamed about. Overall, OpTic had an excellent weekend, and they even beat Atlanta FaZe (3-2) in the quarter-finals.
Los Angeles Guerrillas finished the CDL Pro-Am in last place, without a single series win and with a 31% (4-9) map win rate. That is highly concerning, but we wouldn’t overreact to one bad run, mainly because they were a bit unlucky in some of their games.
The Guerrillas should bounce back and be competitive in the CDL, but they haven’t shown enough this season for us to see them as a real threat for OpTic. Even without iLLeY, OpTic are easily one of the top-four teams in the league, and we expect that to show on Friday.

New York Subliners got it done at the CDL Pro-Am Classic and won the title while dropping just three maps throughout the tournament. The whole roster stepped up and delivered, but mostly it was Paco “HyDra” Rusiewiez to thank, as he ended the event as the MVP with a 1.07 K/D.
But despite their incredible performance, New York enter this match as $2.66 underdogs. Admittedly, the Subliners winning the CDL Pro-Am and Atlanta FaZe struggling doesn’t mean that the former are undoubtedly the better team, but there is no reason to have them as such big underdogs.
FaZe are still more talented and will likely come out ahead, but the Subliners have played much better with the new lineup and have momentum on their side. This could be a very close series, but we have to side with New York Subliners at the offered CDL betting odds.
