Wolfsburg v Werder Bremen
Former Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt boss Niko Kovac takes charge of Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga for the first time with Saturday’s visit of Bremen.
The Wolves underachieved under Florian Kohfelfdt last term, finishing 12th, and should improve on that with Kovac instilling a more progressive style.
They face a Werder side who bounced back to the top flight at the first attempt by finishing as runners-up in the second tier. The Bremen squad is workmanlike and unified and that shared purpose will be key to their hopes of staying up.
However, they face a tough start at the Volkswagen Arena, with Wolfsburg an enticing prospect at 11-12 with SBK.
PSV v Emmen
Another new manager makes his league bow, with Ruud van Nistelrooy at the helm of PSV for their Eredivisie curtain-raiser against Emmen.
The former PSV, Man Utd and Holland striker has made a promising start to his first managerial post, having overseen a 5-3 Dutch Super Cup win over Ajax before a 1-1 first-leg draw away to Monaco in Champions League qualifying.
The second leg of that tie is looming large on Tuesday and PSV can head into it on the back of a comfortable win against Emmen, who are back in the top flight after a one-year absence, winning the second tier last season.
Another season of struggling for Eredivisie survival beckons for Emmen and PSV are backable to win by two or more goals at 4-7 with Bet365.
Rosenborg v HamKam
Rosenborg are playing catch-up in the Norwegian title race and hoping to make it seven league games without defeat when they welcome lowly HamKam.
On home turf, Rosenborg have been in imperious form recently, scoring three goals in five successive matches while dropping just two points.
They can net at least a couple at 4-7 with Bet365 against a visiting side who sit a point outside the drop zone and are five games without victory.
Euro Treble
- Wolfsburg (2.30pm)
- PSV -1 (7pm)
- Rosenborg to score 2+ (5pm)
- (7-2, Betway)
