A seven-race jumps card takes place at Wincanton on Tuesday afternoon and MansionBet are proud sponsors of the card at the Somerset circuit.

12.30 – Merry MansionBet Christmas Maiden Hurdle (1m7f)
Huflower looked short of sharpness on his British debut at Exeter last month but could quickly leave that behind him, with his bumper form in France suggesting he’s got ability. Natty Night is a newcomer to note for the in-form Venetia Williams team but BRAVEHEART gets the nod. He’s been second in a bumper at Sedgefield and a maiden hurdle at Taunton already for Jamie Snowden and has more to come.

1.00 – Bank-A-Winner With MansionBet Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase (2m4f)
This is of course the local track of champion trainer Paul Nicholls and he’s got a super strike-rate at Wincanton. ATHOLL STREET has been runner-up in two starts over fences already and this step up in trip should see him going close. He wasn’t best served at Kempton last time when the jumping tests were cut by a low sun. This should be more his thing.

1.30 – Mansionbet Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap Hurdle (1m7f)
Brief Times is already 3-3 over timber and should set off once more attempting to make all the running for Neil Mulholland and Sam Twiston-Davies. He’s a key player but EARTH COMPANY may see him off late for Philip Hobbs. His novice success at Taunton last month (second hurdles start) was very promising and there’s likely plenty more in his locker.

The combination of Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden should shine again here with RAINYDAY WOMAN, who opened her account over hurdles at the second time of asking when cantering clear over 2m5f here at the start of this month. She should have no issues down in trip and can account for another course winner Mascat, who carries a penalty.

2.30 – MansionBet Bet 10 Get 10 Handicap Chase (2m4f)
Bottom-weight YOUNG O’LEARY makes appeal on second start for Tim Vaughan. He won over fences at Taunton in March for his previous trainer and he made a fair start for this team when second over hurdles (3m) at that same venue late last month, his first appearance since April. He’s still got scope for better than a mark of 107.

3.00 – Follow MansionBet On Twitter Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (2m4f)
Merry Mistress had something in hand when scoring at Hereford three weeks ago and a 7lb penalty might not be enough to prevent the follow-up if she is in the same mood here. At the prices CHANTILLY HAZE might offer some value. She was runner-up at Leicester recently behind an improving rival (since completed hat-trick) and she’s unexposed at this increased trip racing from an unchanged mark.

3.30 – Mansionbet Faller Insurance Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase (3m1f)
Duc Kauto has talent but has questions to answer at this point for Colin Tizzard so a chance is handed instead to BOMBER’S MOON. He stayed on to be fourth on his belated chasing bow here this month over further and, while he remains a maiden, he’s got claims from a basement mark with his rider taking a chunk of weight off in what isn’t a strong contest.
