Sassuolo vs Bologna – Both Teams to Score
Two sides only separated by goal difference in the table meet at the MAPEI Stadium as 11th placed Sassuolo play host to 12th placed Bologna.
It’s now three 2-2 draws from their last four matches in Serie A for Sassuolo after throwing away a two goal lead in Florence last time out, while Bologna lost for the third match in a row after being defeated 0-2 by Juventus on Saturday.
Sassuolo have now scored in each of their last 14 matches in Serie A, with Alessio Dionisi’s side scoring at least twice in each of their last seven, whereas Bologna have scored in all but four of their matches this season.
Both teams to score has remarkably landed in Sassuolo’s last 12 matches in Serie A and with Bologna scoring in 14/18 this season and recording only two shutouts on the road, there’s every chance we’ll see both sides net here.
Venezia vs Lazio – Both Teams to Score
Lazio come into this in 8th and can ill-afford to drop more points in Venice as they take on a Venezia side in 16th and six points outside the relegation zone.
Lazio bounced back from a 2-1 defeat away to Sassuolo by defeating struggling Genoa 3-1 at the Olimpico, while Paolo Zanetti’s side equalised late on away to Sampdoria last time out to make it successive 1-1 draws in Serie A.
Venezia have scored in all bar one of their home matches in Serie A, with only league leaders Inter leaving Venice with a clean sheet, whereas Maurizio Sarri’s side have scored in 14/18 matches this season, and have scored 11 goals in their last four.
Given both these sides have only kept five clean sheets between them in Serie A this season, there’s every chance both teams will concede here, making both teams to score the play.
Hellas Verona vs Fiorentina – Both Teams to Score
European chasing Fiorentina will look to keep up their good recent run of form as they take on midtable Hellas Verona at the Bentegodi.
Fiorentina three-match winning run came to an end last time out, as they came back from two down to draw 2-2 with Sassuolo, whereas lost for the second match in a row, losing 1-0 to former manager Ivan Juric’s Torino side.
Both of these sides are amongst the highest scorers in Serie A this season, with each of them finding the back of the net 33 times in their opening 18 matches.
Whilst both have only failed to score three times each this season, they’ve only had six shutouts between them, therefore there’s a good chance we’ll see both scoring here.
Bordeaux vs Lille – Both Teams to Score
Reigning Ligue 1 champions Lille will look to at least climb into the top half on Wednesday evening as they travel to a Bordeaux side just two points and two places above the relegation playoff spot.
Lille could only draw at home to Lyon last out, but it extend their unbeaten run to six in Ligue 1, while Bordeaux secured only their third win of the season, as they defeated fellow strugglers Troyes 1-2 away from home.
Despite their struggles this season, Bordeaux have only failed to score three times in Ligue 1, scoring in 13 of their last 14, whereas Lille’s 0-0 draw with Lyon was only the fourth time they’d fail to score this season, with them also scoring in their previous six.
Both of these sides are capable of scoring, but do struggle to keep clean sheets. Bordeaux are the only side in Ligue 1 yet to record a shutout, whereas Lille have conceded in all nine on their travels, therefore, both teams to score is the bet here.
