We powered through the £2,000 mark in donations to Paul’s causes on Tuesday, largely in thanks to a very generous donation from our friends at McBookie. Thanks guys!
If you’d like to donate please read about The Bubble Foundation and St Margaret of Scotland Hospice and how to donate here.
Paul’s family have confirmed that his funeral will take place on Monday 21st December.
Wednesday’s Line-up
The curtain closes on this year’s Group Stages in the Champions League but tread carefully as some games have nothing on them and fringe players could get run-outs.
Well done to everyone that posted winning bets in the comments section on Tuesday, there were plenty of winners as ever with Gigi and acsafc among those taking the acclaim.
Events in Paris will steal all the headlines from Tuesday with the match looking likely to be resumed on Wednesday evening but on the pitch SlipsTips scored two winners in his match preview including a cracking 5/1 tip on an Angelino goal as it Man United blew it at Leipzig, going down 3-2 and having to settle for Europa League slot after Christmas.
KevMac also picked up a couple of wins in his preview as a Ronaldo-inspired Juve put Barca to the sword in their own back yard. Don’t miss the guys’ match preview for a trio of Wednesday night’s matches.

No joy for Thommo on Tuesday but he has a trio of selections for Wednesday at attractive prices
Selectabet’s Five to Follow
Under the guise of Selectabet I’ve picked out another Five to Follow for Wednesday. I was cursing the first goal at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday which arrived on 23 minutes and 14 seconds, after I had tipped a goal before 23:00! But it wasn’t all doom and gloom as three of the other four tips all landed.
On Wednesday I’m hoping Man City can make their possession count with six or more shots on target and I’m expecting a similar number of cards in Amsterdam with Carlos del Cerro Grande in charge.
In the Championship I think 4/5 about a Norwich win is very backable while I’m taking a punt on Blackburn to add to their 31-goal haul this season.
Last but not least, Norwegian favourites Bodø/Glimt can take a step closer to 100 league goals with a win at Haugesund.
You can read my full reasoning here.
- Man City Over 5.5 Shots On Target 1/1 (Bet365)
- Ajax v Atalanta Over 5.5 Cards 1/1 (Bet365)
- Blackburn to score 2+ 11/10 (Bet365)
- Norwich to win 4/5 (Sportingbet)
- Bodø/Glimt to win and score 2+ goals 20/23 (Bet365)
As ever, please post your tips for Wednesday in the comments section below and good luck with your bets.
