Goals should be on the menu at the King Power tonight where Spurs are the visitors to Leicester.
It’s a fixture that seems to throw up goals with the last 14 seeing 54 goals scored, averaging 3.86 per match, and with the Foxes’ matches achieving the highest goals per game tally (3.56) in the Premier League it all points to an entertaining affair.
Over 2.5 Goals is 8/11, while Both teams to score is 8/13.
For Spurs, a top-four finish is very much still up for grabs. A win would see them leapfrog rivals Arsenal and move to within a point of fourth-placed West Ham with 2 games in hand. For Leicester the chance to make it four home wins in a row for just the second time under Brendan Rodgers.
Such has been Spurs’ form that they’re favourites to win here at 13/8 but they’ll need to rely on Harry Kane to be their main threat since Son Heung-min is expected to miss out. No problem though since Kane has scored an impressive 15 goals in 12 Premier League games against Leicester. The England no.9 is 10/11 to find the net this evening.
Tonight’s other Premier League clash sees Brentford welcome Manchester United. The Bees have been a tough nut to crack a home on their debut season in the Premier League. Liverpool could only manage a point there and although Man City and Chelsea left with all three points, both were single goal victories. An underperforming United could be in for a tough night.
Saturday’s draw at Aston Villa would’ve felt more like two points dropped rather than a point gained for the Red Devils after throwing away a two-goal lead. That made it just one win from their last four league games and they barely deserve to be 4/5 at the Brentford Community Stadium.
This one probably won’t be as entertaining as Leicester v Spurs and it could pay to follow a similar tactic we employed at the weekend by backing no goals before 29:00 minutes at 5/6.
The Super Single however comes from the Championship where in-form Blackburn travel to Hull City. Rovers are up in to 3rd in the table thanks to a brilliant run of 12 wins from 15 games. Hosts Hull have failed to win since November (D2 L4) and seem to have lost their way.
Just three wins from 12 at home doesn’t bode well for the Tigers, nor does the fact that Blackburn have won the last five meetings between the sides. It’s a toss up between backing Rovers to win at a smart 13/8 or backing them to score two at 11/8 but the former just shades it since three of Blackburn’s last six wins have been by a goal to nil.
