Giants have managed just one win (1-2) from the first two weeks of VCT 2023 EMEA League, but that’s justifiable, considering their two defeats came against Fnatic (0-2) and Natus Vincere (1-2). And not only did Giants nearly sweep Natus Vincere (17-15, 13-15, 7-13), but they also demolished KOI (13-1, 13-11) last Friday.
BBL Esports have achieved far less over the first three weeks of the season, with defeats against Karmine Corp (0-2), Fnatic (1-2), and Natus Vincere (0-2). Like Giants, BBL had to play two of the strongest EMEA Valorant esports teams, but their performance against KC (17-19, 11-13) makes it tough to defend them as a team that is solid but has yet to find its footing.
Esports betting sites still have some faith in BBL Esports, giving them a 44.4% implied probability to defeat Giants; however, based on what we’ve seen from the two teams, Giants look poised to dominate this clash.

Team Vitality kicked off the 2023 season with a massive 2-1 victory against Team Liquid, to which they added a commanding 2-0 sweep of KOI. But the Bees failed to keep the wind in their sails in Week 2 and lost against FUT Esports (4-13, 10-13), which pushed them down a notch in the power rankings.
Their next opponents, Karmine Corp have managed just one win so far and even that came against the struggling BBL Esports (2-0). Unfortunately, they were far less successful against Team Heretics (0-2) and Team Liquid (0-2). In their last two series, Karmine Corp combined 14 rounds (seven apiece), which is alarming, especially knowing that Team Vitality are stronger than Heretics.
Team Vitality are expected to have an easy time defeating their regional rivals, and there’s nothing that would suggest otherwise. Anything less than a 2-0 sweep will be a huge disappointment for the Bees.
