“No fixtures found for this date” – not something you want to see on the BBC Sport website but that’s where we’re at today.
But it gives us the chance to take an early look at some of this week’s upcoming international matches and maybe get a bit of extra value.
The finale of the Nations League tops the bill but it looks a tricky betting event with the four teams priced up at 2/1 Netherlands, 5/2 Spain, 3/1 Italy and 7/2 Croatia – as close a 4-way betting event as you’ll see.
So lets look at some of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. A couple of nations that catch the eye are in action on Saturday.
Hungary had a great Nations League campaign, narrowly missing out on a spot in the final four. They started their Euro 2024 campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over Bulgaria and look worth a punt at 11/10 away to Montenegro who have won just once in the last calendar year.
Georgia are another team on the up and can have a say in who qualifies from Scotland’s group. The Georgians drew with Norway last time out and have lost just one of their last 14 matches, a 3-0 friendly defeat to Morocco in UAE. A trip to Cyprus presents another opportunity to pick up three points at even money.
England’s trip to Malta should be a walk in the park. Over 3.5 Goals for the Three Lions is just about backable at 5/6.
Scotland face a really tough test in Norway where they’ll be hoping Erling Haaland is still suffering the effects of Manchester City’s celebrations. The Scots are in a strong position in Group A after two opening wins. A victory in Oslo at 14/5 would be a massive step towards a place in Germany next summer.
Northern Ireland have a huge task in Denmark where they’re 10/1 while Wales should prevail in Cardiff where Armenia are the visitors.
