FUT Esports looked very good early in the season when they defeated Team Heretics (2-0), Team Vitality (2-0), and KOI (2-0), but they’ve since cooled down and enter this match on a run of two 0-2 losses (against Giants and Fnatic) and one win against Karmine Corp (2-0) on Thursday.
Still, FUT’s recent slump isn’t too concerning, considering they played well against Giants, and they wouldn’t have had a chance to beat Fnatic regardless of how well they played that day. But, most importantly, FUT Esports looked very good against the new and improved Karmine Corp last week.
Natus Vincere are already locked in for a top-six finish and still in the VCT EMEA League title race. They’re 6-1 with just one defeat against KOI (0-2) on the opening day of the season and look to be in a good spot to finish the season inside the top two.
However, while NaVi are very good, they’re not untouchable. They have lost at least ten rounds in all but one of the last six maps they’ve played and have had a couple of close calls where they should’ve lost a map.
So even though NaVi have accomplished more than FUT Esports this season, $1.16 is a bit short. FUT to win at least one map at $2.10 is a no-brainer pick.

Since the roster change at the start of VCT 2023 EMEA League Week 4, Karmine Corp have looked better. They played a close series against Natus Vincere and defeated KOI (2-1) but were no match for FUT Esports (0-2) on Thursday. Losing against FUT isn’t concerning since they are a very strong team, but for us to believe that KC can compete with Fnatic, we would’ve needed to see a bit more.
Fnatic are by far the best team in VCT 2023 EMEA League, and it’s not even close. They’ve not lost or come close to losing a single map since the full roster came together in Week 2, and barring any surprises, Fnatic will likely end the season with a perfect record.
Last week, they had a close call with Team Vitality (14-12, 13-8), but even that doesn’t make us doubt the Black & Orange. Karmine Corp have looked better recently, but not good enough to justify a bet.
