It’s been a season to remember for Brighton and there could be more joy to come for Seagulls fans between now and the end of the campaign.
But they’ve a tough end of the season ahead with matches against each of the top four to come, including tonight’s against Manchester United.
It was United that ended Brighton’s FA Cup dream at the semi-final stage so there’ll be some revenge in the air at the Amex tonight. There was nothing between the sides that day and the Seagulls have had the upper hand in the last two league meetings.
The Red Devils continue to grind out results, a 1-0 win over Aston Villa kept them in pole position for a top four finish but they’ve struggled away from home against teams in the top half of the table. They’ve won just one point from a possible 21 away to teams currently in the top nine.
Brighton’s six goals against Wolves took them to 61 for season, a total only bettered by Man City, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool and they’ll fancy their chances against a United defence that has conceded 79% of their goals away from home this season.
Roberto De Zerbi‘s side will be buzzing after Saturday’s win and look good value at 1/1 to win this one – a better option than two or more Brighton goals at 4/6.
