View our expert’s Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Thursday which features four both teams to score tips.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Bodø/Glimt vs Celtic – Both Teams to Score
Celtic were left stunned last week as they were defeated 1-3 at home to Bodø/Glimt and now must score at least twice in Northern Norway just to force extra-time.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have scored in six of their last seven European fixtures, scoring 14 goals and should at least net against a Glimt side that’s conceded in five of their last seven European matches.
The Hoops have struggled defensively in Europe this season, conceding 15 goals in the group-stages of the Europa League, as well as three in the first leg against the Norwegians.
Kjetil Knutsen’s side won all three of their group-stage matches on home turf, scoring 11 goals and given the visitors have to go for it, I’m expecting an open match and we should see both sides score at the Aspmyra Stadion.
Napoli vs Barcelona – Both Teams to Score
Despite creating plenty of chances, Barcelona failed to take a first-leg lead to the Diego Armando Maradona, as they could only draw 1-1 with Napoli.
Barça extended their unbeaten run to nine in La Liga after their 1-4 win away to Valencia on Sunday, whilst Luciano Spalletti’s side could only draw 1-1 away to lowly Cagliari.
Xavi’s side have found the back of the net in 13 of their last 14 in La Liga, including in each of their last nine, whilst Napoli have found the back of the net in 23/26 of their Serie A fixtures this season.
Barça have kept just five clean sheets in La Liga this season, conceding in nine of their last 11, but given their quality in attack, I’m happy to back both sides to get on the scoresheet on Naples.
Rangers vs Borussia Dortmund – Both Teams to Score
Dortmund were left stunned by Rangers last Thursday and now travel to Ibrox knowing they have to find the back of the net at least twice just to force extra-time.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side took advantage of Dortmund’s defensive vulnerabilities last Thursday and given the German side have kept just one clean sheet on their travels in league and Europe this season, Rangers should at least get on the scoresheet.
Marco Rose’s side have struck in 28/30 of their Bundesliga and European matches this season, scoring 73 goals and I can’t see them not scoring in Govan.
With Dortmund two goals down, I’m expecting an open encounter and given the German sides record at both ends of the pitch, I can see both sides scoring at an atmospheric Ibrox.
Real Betis vs Zenit St Petersburg – Both Teams to Score
Real Betis host Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg at the Beńito Villamarín in the second leg of their Europa League playoff round and have the advantage after winning 2-3 in the first leg in Russia.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side defeated Mallorca 2-1 on Sunday, meaning Los Verdiblancos have won four of their last five in La Liga, scoring 14 goals.
They have conceded in each of their last eight La Liga matches though, whilst the reigning Russian champions have struck in 17/18 of their league matches this term.
Given Real Betis’s record at both ends of the pitch, coupled up with the fact that Zenit must score at least once, we could see an open match, therefore, I’m backing both sides to find the back of the net in Seville.
