Antwerp vs Fenerbahce – Both Teams to Score
The two bottom sides in Group D meet in a must win game for both at the Bosuilstadion as Antwerp host Fenerbahce.
Both sides played out an entertaining 2-2 in Istanbul and with both sides needing a win here to have any chances of catching the top two, I’m expecting more goals.
Domestically, Antwerp have only failed to score once in 13 matches, scoring 23 goals, while Fenerbahce have scored in 10/11, scoring 15 times.
While both of these sides rarely fail to net, they also struggle to keep clean sheets. They’ve both conceded in each of their three group games, whilst keeping only 6/24 domestically between them.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Real Betis – Both Teams to Score
The top two sides in Group G face off in Germany as Bayer Leverkusen host Real Betis at the Bay Arena.
Both these sides are tied on seven points and four points ahead of Celtic in 3rd and know a win will guarantee qualification from Group G.
Both these sides scored 13 goals between them in victories over Celtic and Ferencvaros before drawing 1-1 in Seville in a match that should’ve saw far more goals.
Both these sides have scored 23 and 19 goals respectively in their domestic league but struggle to keep clean sheets. They’ve conceded in 18/23 domestic games this season.
Ferencvaros vs Celtic – Over 2.5 Goals
Now to the two bottom sides in Group G who meet in a must win clash in Hungary as Ferencvaros host Celtic at the Groupama Aréna.
Celtic won the reverse fixture 2-0 but there should’ve been more goals in it as Celtic in particular spurned numerous of chances including another missed penalty.
Despite failing to score at Celtic Park, Ferencvaros scored in their opener two fixtures, while Celtic have scored five times, including three in their previous away trip to Betis.
However both sides are suspect defensively with the Hungarian side already conceding seven goals, while Celtic have conceded on eight occasions in their opening three group matches.
Roma vs Bodø/Glimt – Over 2.5 Goals
The top two sides meet in Group C as Italian giants Roma host Norwegian champions Bodø/Glimt at the Stadio Olimpico.
Jose Mourinho will be out for revenge after being hammered 6-1 in Northern Norway in what was the first time the Portuguese coach conceded six goals in a single match.
Prior to that defeat, Roma had defeated both CSKA Sofia and Zorya, scoring eight goals in the process, while Glimt had defeated CSKA Sofia 3-1 before a 0-0 draw in Ukraine.
12/16 of Roma’s matches in all competitions have went over 2.5 goals so far this season, while Bodø/Glimt have scored 50 times in 25 matches in the Eliteserien and as seen in the reverse are capable of scoring against the Italians.
