Atlanta FaZe enter CDL Major 5 as the second-favourites to win the trophy, priced at $3.50 with Betway, so it’s not surprising to see esports betting sites expecting FaZe to take down Las Vegas Legion. However, despite their strong record on the season, FaZe failed to show much in CDL Major 5 Qualifiers.
They finished the qualifiers with a 4-1 record, which looks good, but their schedule was very easy, with OpTic (0-3) the only top-tier team FaZe had to face. They beat Las Vegas Legion (3-0) in the second week of the qualifiers, but the Legion have since improved, so it’s fair to expect them to fare better on Thursday.
It’s very difficult to doubt FaZe on LAN, but they have dropped maps against London Royal Ravens and Boston Breach and they haven’t looked as good in the qualifiers as they did in the previous splits. Atlanta FaZe should win, but this could be a much closer match than the latest CoD esports betting odds suggest.

Toronto Ultra finished CDL Major 5 Qualifiers with three wins against Seattle Surge (3-0), Los Angeles Thieves (3-1), and Los Angeles Guerrillas (3-0) and two defeats against OpTic Texas (1-3) and Minnesota RØKKR (3-2).
Due to their defeat against Minnesota RØKKR, many doubt Toronto Ultra and their chances to produce a deep run at the CDL Major 5, but one poor result doesn’t necessarily mean much.
New York Subliners are one of the dark horses to win CDL Major 5, and rightly so. This is a talented team that consistently performs. But they also consistently lose against top squads, so it’s tough to believe they can win on Thursday.
Still, Toronto Ultra’s disastrous showing last weekend and the fact that they usually lose series that go to game five — they haven’t won one since CDL Major 3 — creates an exciting betting angle. Take New York Subliners to win 3-2.

OpTic Texas are by far the best team in the league ahead of CDL Major 5 and rightly priced as the favourites on the outright Call of Duty betting markets. Florida Mutineers are the complete opposite and enter the final Major of the season as $101.00 outsiders.
OpTic defeated Florida Mutineers (3-0) on Saturday, which is another reason to like the Green Wall better. However, if we closely examine how the series played out, we can start questioning the offered betting odds.
Florida Mutineers lost the game 0-3 but with 222-250 (Hydro – Hardpoint), 4-6 (Fortress – Search & Destroy), and 2-3 (Expo – Control). So while Florida Mutineers were the worse team on the day, they came seconds away from winning Hardpoint and just one map short of winning Control.
Like the first match of the day between FaZe and Legion, the favourite should win, but we have to trust the underdogs to do some damage at the offered betting odds.
