Troyes vs Rennes – Over 2.5 Goals
Rennes will look to continue their climb up the Ligue 1 table, as they travel to the Stade de l’Aube to take on in-form Troyes late Sunday afternoon.
Rennes got back to winning ways last time out, as they defeated Brest 3-1, whilst Bruno Irles’s hosts followed up their 3-1 win over Angers with a surprise 2-4 victory away at 10-man Monaco.
These two sides have scored in 4/5 of their respective league outings this season, however, neither side is yet to record a single clean sheet.
Troyes have saw a staggering 23 goals in their opening five league outings this season, with all five breaking the over 2.5 goal-barrier and I’m expecting to see another three when Bruno Génésio’s visitors come to town.
Rosenborg vs Viking – Over 2.5 Goals
Rosenborg will look to return to winning ways, as they play host to sixth-placed Viking at Lerkendal Stadion on Sunday teatime.
Rosenberg saw their nine-match unbeaten run come to an end last time out, as they were on the wrong end of a seven-goal thriller away at Tromsø.
Viking saw their winless run in the Eliteserien extend to four matches last time out, as they were beaten 1-2 at home to in-form Vålerenga.
Each of Rosenborg’s last seven matches at home have saw at least three strikes and given seven of Viking’s last nine have saw the same, we should see at least another three strikes in Trondheim between these two attack-minded sides.
