SATURDAY always looked a tough one for punters and so it proved with the usual share of cup upsets and surprises.
Everton, Arsenal and Burnley all needed more than 90 minutes to get through their ties while Derby, West Brom and Blackburn weren’t so fortunate.
In Scotland Dundee and Forfar were taken to extra-time by Bonnyrigg Rose and Linlithgow Rose but eventually prevailed.
Sunday’s Football Tips
And so, on to Sunday and another raft of FA Cup matches. Shocks should be harder to come by with Leeds (3/10), Man City (1/11), Chelsea (1/16) and Tottenham (1/50) all at very short prices.
Leeds trip to Crawley looks the most dangerous but anything other than comfortable wins would be major suprises and if lowly Marine can pull off a result against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs it would go down in FA Cup folklore.
In Scotland, Rangers have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premiership to 22 points. Aiming to put the brakes the Gers’ juggernaut are Aberdeen who are 8/1 to become the first team to defeat Steven Gerrard’s side in the league this campaign.
Our team have covered a few of Sunday’s matches in their match previews and SlipsTip serves up a BetBuilder in the clash between Roma and Inter in Serie A.
