Fleetwood Town v Blackpool
THE rain wiped out last week’s tip on Fleetwood to win at Tranmere but there’s no reason not get involved with Joey Barton’s side again this weekend in the West Lancashire Derby against Blackpool.
The Cod Army made it seven wins in eight with a 1-0 win at out-of-form Ipswich Town in midweek and now find themselves in the play-off places and just six points off the top of the table.
Opponents Blackpool appear to have halted a horrendous run of form that saw them lose seven out of eight at the start of the year. They’ve won two and drawn one in their last three, however, their three wins in 2020 have come against Southend (bottom), Bolton (second bottom) and the aforementioned Ipswich so I wouldn’t read too much into the Ws on their form guide.
Barton’s men can keep the pressure on those teams above them with a home win so buy Fleetwood’s supremacy at 0.75 at SpreadEx.com
Recommended Bet
- Buy Fleetwood’s Supremacy at 0.75 (SpreadEx)
This spread betting market means if Fleetwood win by a goal you win 0.25 x your stake, then for every goal above that you win an extra multiple of your stake. A draw would mean you lose 0.75 x your stake, a one goal Tranmere win 1.75 x your stake, two goal Tranmere win 2.75 x your stake and so on.
Ipswich Town v Coventry City
Paul Lambert’s Ipswich Town are in free-fall at the moment. They’ve picked up just four points out of the last 24 available to them and have a fair bit of ground to make up if they’re to threaten those currently in the promotion places in League One.
On Saturday they host top-of-the-table Coventry who have defied the odds this season to become serious promotion contenders. In a league where seemingly anyone can beat anyone the Sky Blues’ record of just three defeats is admirable. They haven’t tasted defeat in the league since mid-December and lead the table by two points with a game in hand.
If this one goes to form then a sell of Ipswich’s Supremacy at -0.1 should be profitable.
Recommended Bet
- Sell Ipswich’s Supremacy at -0.1 (SpreadEx)
This spread betting market means if Coventry win by a goal you win 0.9 x your stake, then for every goal above that you win an extra multiple of your stake. A draw would mean you lose 0.1 x your stake, a one goal Ipswich win 1.1 x your stake, two goal Ipswich win 2.1 x your stake and so on.
