SlipsTips has lined up a Booking Points double ahead of the penultimate round of Scottish Premiership fixtures on Wednesday night.
Aberdeen vs Hibernian (Wednesday, 19:45)
The Scottish Premiership season is fast approaching its end but there is still much to play for and Aberdeen’s encounter with Hibs is an interesting contest.
The Dons are attempting to stay on the heels of the Hibees but the visitors can secure third place in the Premiership at Pittodrie tonight.
Stephen Glass’ side must-win against a Hibs side who will arrive in the Granite City on a high after sealing their passage to yet another Scottish Cup final.
Whether or not the Dandies can keep alive their bid to finish third remains to be seen, and I’m going to steer clear of the outright betting here and instead throw 30+ match booking points into the first half of my double.
Indeed, neither of these sides have been particularly prolific for picking up cards this term, but I suspect that sparks could fly here given that both teams are still jostling in the battle to finish “best of the rest”
What’s more, referee John Beaton is averaging 3.55 cards per game this season and with both teams bound to be right up for this one, I’m more than happy to hang my hat on at least 30 booking points at Pittodrie.
Ross County vs Hamilton (Wednesday, 19:45)
Ross County play host to relegation rivals Hamilton Accies in a proverbial six-pointer in Dingwall on Wednesday night.
Just three points separates the sides ahead of this make-or-break showdown but the Staggies know that a victory here rules out the threat of automatic relegation ahead of the final round of fixtures this weekend.
Hamilton, on the other hand, are entering last chance saloon territory this midweek but Brian Rice’s battle-hardened side have forged a reputation as one of Scottish football‘s survival specialists
That knack for beating the drop may have to be relied upon more than ever on Wednesday night and there should be no shortage of cards given the immense pressure that will be on both sides here .
Ross County are averaging a league-high 2.06 cards per game this season, while Accies are averaging 1.16 cards per 90 minute this term.
Willie Collum has the whistle for this high-stakes affair and that only adds to the appeal of backing both of the aforementioned fixtures to generate 30+ Booking Points, an eye-catching even-money (1/1) double with Sky Bet.
