Having delivered a winning selection in each of his last four featured columns, SlipsTips is back with a pick from Queen’s Park’s clash with Dundee in the Scottish Championship on Friday night.

Fourth meets fifth in one of the two Friday night offerings from the Scottish Championship, as Queen’s Park play host Dundee.
The Spiders have needed no time to adapt to life in the second tier having collected 20 points from their opening 12 games of the season, the most recent of which were claimed via a 4-0 thumping of Partick Thistle at Firhill last Saturday.
As for Dundee, they have yet to match pre-season expectations following last season’s relegation from the Scottish Premiership, as further typified by their stalemate at home to Greenock Morton last weekend.
Given Dundee’s inconsistencies, Queen’s Park will attract some attention here at 11/5 and better, but I’m happy to opt for an alternative angle by siding with Over 2.5 Match goals at 17/20 with Bet 365.
Both of these sides have had plenty of success in terms of their attacking output this season, with both of these teams grabbing at least one in 10 of their respective 12 Championship fixtures this season so far.
However, at the other end of the park, both the Spiders and Dark Blues have demonstrated a fairly regular inability to keep the back door shut.
Owen Coyle’s hosts have conceded at least once in five of their six tier home games this season, not to mention their goals against tally of 19 is the fourth-highest in the division.
Dundee, on the other hand, have filed just two shutouts across their last seven matches in all competitions, with five of their last eight league games featuring a minimum of three match goals.
It’s also worth pointing out that Over 2.5 gaol backers would have pocketed profit from each of the previous two meetings between this pair earlier in the campaign, all of which adds to the appeal of opting for goals at Ochilview.
What’s more, Over 2.5 Goals has landed in 15 of the pair’s collective 24 (62.5%) Scottish Championship outings this term to date, yet the odds imply a 54.1 % chance of the same bet banking on Friday night
