After delivering a Scottish League One winner on Saturday, SlipsTips casts his eye over Tuesday night’s fixture between Partick Thistle and Forfar.

Partick Thistle will be looking to make it three wins on the spin when they face Forfar at Firhill on Tuesday night.
Ian McCall’s men made light work of Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup last midweek before brilliantly dismantling Airdrie 4-2 on Saturday.
That Penny Cars Stadium triumph got Patrick’s promotion push back on track and they will fancy their chances of landing another three points when Forfar come calling.
Stuart Malcom’s side dropped to the foot of the League One table following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat against Falkirk and I suspect they could suffer a similar fate at Firhill on Tuesday night.
There is little value in siding with Partick Thistle here at general 1/4, but backing the hosts to overcome a -1.5 start on the asian handicap could be the way to go at 19/20 with Bet 365.
Here we would require Partick to win the game by two clear goals, a handicap that the Jags have overcome in each of their last two victories.
The Maryhill outfit will be keen to maintain their momentum after a stop-start year of football and they can ill-afford any slip-ups in their pursuit of League One pacesetters Falkirk.
As such, McCall will have earmarked this match as one to win and I suspect his team will have too much firepower for semi-professional Forfar on Tuesday night.
Stacked with experience, this Thistle squad wouldn’t look out of place in the Scottish Championship, not to mention McCall and Co have signalled their intent in recent weeks with an eye-catching signing spree.
Relegation-threatened Forfar, on the other hand, have lost 7/12 League One matches this term – the highest tally in the division – and it’s worth noting that the above-mentioned betting angle would have banked profit in five of the Loons seven league defeats thus far.
