St Johnstone and Galatasaray reconvene at McDiarmid Park for Thursday’s Europa League third round qualifier.
The Saints go into this glamour tie off the back of a mighty impressive 1-1 draw in Turkey last midweek.
Callum Davidson’s crew continue to defy the odds but the unfancied hosts unsurprisingly head into the return match as big underdogs at a general 3/1.
That said, I suspect this second leg showdown could be closer than the odds suggest and I’m going to back the Saints to hit three or more corners as the first half of a double.
Indeed, St Johnstone totted up just two corners in Istanbul last week, but Scotland’s double cup winners are set to be roared on by a sell-out McDiarmid Park crowd.
That means a party atmosphere is almost-certain in Perth and with all things considered, I’m more than happy to back the hosts to hit at least three corners during this historic occasion.
Celtic vs FK Jablonec (Thursday, 19:45)
Celtic will be aiming to continue their mini-revival when they play host to FK Jablonec in the Europa League third qualifying round on Thursday night.
I’ve already penned a separate match preview on this second leg clash but I’m also going to factor this fixture into the second-half of my double.
Ange Postecoglou has had to endure a baptism of fire as Bhoys boss but back-to-back victories have lifted the gloom in Glasgow’s east end.
The Bhoys bagged a morale-boosting 4-2 first leg win in the Czech Republic last week before a 6-0 demolition of Dundee at Celtic Park on Sunday.
That means Postecoglou’s side have slammed in 10 goals across their last two matches, while FK Jablonec are without a win in three matches, shipping nine goals in the process.
With all that in mind, I’m going to complete my 87/100 (SkyBet) double by backing Celtic to score two or more goals in front of a packed Parkhead on Thursday night.
