It’s the most exciting end to the Scottish Championship for years and we’ll go for three games in the league that could have a massive impact at the top and the bottom of it.
CALEY THISTLE have won six games in a row, have a Scottish Cup semi-final against League One Falkirk to look forward to and would move to within one point of leaders Dundee with a win on Saturday.
Yet they have been written off at 13/5 to get another three points and that’s begging to be backed.
Billy Dodds has got his big players back and fit again for the first time almost all season and has options from the bench which has made a huge difference recently.
They also have plenty of spirit, as proved in their last two matches where they went a goal down to both Cove Rangers and Hamilton Accies in the second half and still won them both.
Billy Mckay is probably better than ever at 34 and in Nathan Shaw, ICT have one of the best players in the division.
They are creating plenty too and should have been out of sight in midweek against Hamilton after blowing umpteen chances.
Dundee have previous for wilting under the pressure and Caley Thistle have nothing to lose – no one thought they would be challenging just a few weeks ago.
Morton scored three against Dundee at Dens Park last week and Inverness can blow the title race open here.
PARTICK THISTLE let us down with a draw against Ayr United last week, but they can make amends by winning at a desperately limited Hamilton Accies side.
Kris Doolan’s side had been on a great run and will still fancy their chance of going up via the play-offs.
There’s a toxic atmosphere at Hamilton at the moment and manager John Rankin and the board got it in the neck big time from their fans after their midweek defeat to Inverness.
Accies look low on confidence and the Jags should be too strong here at 5/6.
ARBROATH are trying to get a huge crowd into Gayfield on Saturday where a win against bottom club Cove Rangers would almost certainly ensure survival and Dick Campbell’s men can oblige at evens.
Cove Rangers look doomed under Paul Hartley after a horror run of one win in 16. Arbroath have lost only once in nine and that was at in-form Inverness.
And the Smokies can claim their first league win of the season over Cove.
