IT went goals crazy in Norway yesterday to land the 24+ goals at 4-5 and all matches over 1.5 goals at 4-1.
It wasn’t by chance, the penultimate round of matches in most leagues provide a high number of goals and the Norwegians obliged with a massive 33 scored.
That helped remove the bitter taste in my mouth from Aberdeen failing to score a second goal in a match they somehow managed to throw away.
This week’s UCL Gambla betting podcast is now available to listen to as we give out thoughts on match day 5 – well worth a few minutes of your time.
Today sees Scottish Reserve League action and you can imagine my delight when I saw Ross County were at home and double delight when I saw they were playing Dundee United, two of my go-to teams for goals in this league.
Ross County Res vs Dundee United Res (KO 1pm)
Nobody has seen more goals in their matches this season than Dundee United – in their 7 games there have been an incredible 33 goals scored and what’s pleasing is these goals are split equally between scored and conceded (17F, 16A).
They play league leaders Ross County in Dingwall and given United are hardly watertight defensively you’d have to fancy the home men to score at least twice especially as United may send a young team up the A9.
County have seen over 2.5 goals in 13 of their last 15 and with them coming into this in good shape we should expect them to win this match given they have won three on the spin, scoring 8 goals in the process.
Be really keen to see what team United put out for this but they have been in fine scoring form so wouldn’t be surprised to see them find the net.
Taking both sides to score here and that should take us up to over 3.5 goals.
