STEVEN GERRARD knows his side can’t afford another slip – so Rangers must beat Hibs tonight.
The Ibrox men have shed five points in two games and are in danger of seeing Celtic disappear into the distance.
Hibs blow hot and cold – they’ve lost 6-1 and 3-0 to Rangers this season – but are the type of side who could cause a shock at 16-1 with Ladbrokes.
Rangers are ridiculously short at 1-5 but Rangers and both to score has a chance at 21-10 with Marathonbet.
Alfredo Morelos is needed more than ever and after drawing a blank against Aberdeen is 3-1 with bet365 to score against a leakier defence.
Celtic look to have a tough trip at third-place Motherwell but are unbeaten in 16 against the Fir Parkers and have won 10 in a row away in the league.
Neil Lennon’s side suffered a scare at Hamilton but having won 5-2 at Well in August I’m going for Celtic and over 2.5 match goals at 11-10 with McBookie.
Since going two upfront with Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths it’s been 13 goals in four Premiership and French star Edouard is 14-5 at McBookie to score first ahead of Griff who is 7-2.
Hearts are off the foot on goal difference and should escape the drop having signed Liam Boyce. I’m backing them at 21-20 with Ladbrokes at home to Killie even if they’ve lost the previous three meetings 1-0.
Irish hitman Boyce is 9-5 at Paddy Power to score for the third game running.
I hate the term “six-pointer” but St Mirren v Hamilton fits the bill with a home win putting the Buddies six clear of basement boys Accies.
Saints are improving and 2-2 at Hibs was a decent result. I fancy them to edge this at 5-6 with McBookie even though Accies put up a great fight before going to Celtic on Sunday.
The Buddies have signed Ilkay Durmus’ former team-mate and Seifedin Chabbi and he’ll bring a much-needed goal threat. He is favourite to score first but Durmus is more likely to start and looks big at 10-1 with bet365 to break the deadlock.
Aberdeen have had back-to-back draws against St Mirren and Rangers and there could be another when St Johnstone visit. Both meetings this season have finished 1-1 and a third pays 6-1 at BetVictor.
The straight draw is 5-2 with McBookie and possibly the minimum target for a Saints side whose form has picked up. On his return to Pittodrie striker Stevie May, who hit a weekend double against Hearts, is 7-1 at McBookie to score first.
Finally, two sides who do most of their good work at home clash in Dingwall where Ross County welcome Livingston.
County though have lost four out of five and been hammered twice by Livi this season – 4-1 and 4-0. Livi have won six in a row at home and are aiming for a sixth win in a row in all competitions.
I do like the look of Livi but they’re just under evens which is too short so take a chance on them to score 2+ at 9-10 with Marathonbet.
